Why a Living Goddess?
Humans have become accustomed to worshiping the divine as a silent
abstraction, speaking only through holy texts, or as iconic consecrated figures
carved in stone or appearing through art. In some faiths one must use an
intermediary just as a priest or holy person to interpret sacred meaning and
instruct you on your spiritual journey. In this era of the disembodied divine, so
detached from the holiness of the Earth itself, it is crucial that we return to
the inherent sacredness of the body, and that requires a deity with whom you
can interact on a personal level.
The duality of the Living Goddess as both sacred and profane, both human
and divine is key to the religious experience of the dasa or devotee in Sacred
Gynarchy. Whereas the deities of other religions may seem unreachable or
distant, and even cryptic and cruel, the Living Goddess is your direct intimate
connection to Devi – the vibration and source of life itself. You can speak to
her and hear the resonance of Her voice as it moves through you. You can
touch Her, smell Her, taste Her skin on your lips as you kiss Her feet. You can
look into her eyes and see the warmth of love and see Her smile when you
have pleased Her.
If the deity can laugh and cry like you, eat, drink, excrete, and sleep like you,
then you are brought ever closer to the realization of yourself as you truly are,
in your most sacred and evolved state. You begin to understand the marvel of
this human body as an instrument for Devi’s Desire. If She can feel emotion as
you feel emotion, you are better able to find the connection that opens your
heart wide so that you can tame the ego that stands in your way of self
realisation. Your devotion has a focus and you can have a real and tangible
relationship with Devi.
Devi shows Herself through multiple Living Goddesses so that every seeker
may find Her in the eyes of a Divine Woman. Because we all resonate with
others in different ways. All female bodies are portals through which the
silent and infinite potential becomes manifest in the physical world. Still only a small percentage choose to become focal points of worship. They become
this through sadhana – specific practices that allow them to experience their
own divinity – through consecration by another Living Goddess, or
spontaneously through Shaktipat where they are allowed the experience of the
blueprint of all that exists all at once and then seek to convey that experiential
understanding to others.
You will know when you have encountered your Living Goddess as you will feel
irrevocably drawn to Her, bound to Her with the irrepressible urge to serve and
worship Her in every way. You may dream of Her or find yourself thinking
about Her constantly. Love will come on quickly and trigger a kind of ecstasy
more intense than romantic love. It may be an erotic experience, as the very
life energy within you is struck like a chord and sends waves through your
being. You will find any feelings of jealousy hold no sway and do not prevent
you from being magnetized to Her. All you want is to see Her pleased and
cared for. It will feel like enchantment, though it will not fade even when you
observe her very human flaws and peculiarities.
You will wonder at how lucky you are to have come in direct contact with the
divine. You will feel as if your entire life purpose on this planet revolves
around devoting yourself to Her desires. You may have felt you lacked purpose
before meeting Her.
The sight, the sound, the scent, the touch, and the taste of your Living
Goddess will make you feel whole, alive, embraced, and the impulse to
worship Her will be strong. Through your senses and through devotion you will
discover religious ecstasy. And in such a state you will become the most
refined and best version of yourself.
Erotic feelings are not sacrilegious within our faith that acknowledges how life
energy expresses itself in the human body. We do not shame arousal, but
instead harness it through practices such as chastity and semen retention to
enhance one’s senses and the body and brain’s utmost potential.
All sexuality in the Sacred Gynarchy is controlled and directed exclusively by
women. Periods of denial for men under command of a Living Goddess are
not uncommon. But it is not denial with the goal of negating all sexual feeling
and it is not done because arousal is seen as wrong or unholy. Quite the
opposite. The sweet and torturous ecstasy of sacrificing orgasm can be an
intensely pleasurable practice.
We also understand that the erotic energy of a Living Goddess can be like a
generator for an entire Hive. From a young age I recognized that men often
want even the simple privilege of touching the portal of life from whence they
emerged. They plug in. It’s not just about inserting penis into vagina (in fact
such acts should be rare and tightly gate-kept by women), but they literally
plug into the energetic power source, expressed through the female body.
Therefore, practices such as Yoni puja are used to open the dasa or the
devotee’s heart and body to the bliss of divine communion and to keep the
Living Goddess charged and buzzing.
Many long to return to the Divine Mother of All Things and be embraced and
enveloped by Her… It is through the Living Goddess that one can feel that
embrace.
Deconstruction
I understand the doubts one might have about any and all religion after having
begun the process of deconstruction from the Abrahamic religions as more
and more people are doing. After living through the effects of hypocrisy, and
reading texts such as the Bible and Qaran and releasing the horrible character
of the god about which they speak, I too would begin to see religion as utter
nonsense.
As one who is deconstructing, you probably came to understand that there
were gods before Yahweh, aka Adonai, aka Allah, aka El, aka God. And if we
take a look at them we can easily understand that the god of the Abrahamic
faiths was not all that different from Zeus, Anu, or other Sky Fathers of mythology. All of them were arrogant, jealous, ruthless and typically lacked
compassion toward human beings. To all of them, humans were expendable
pawns in whatever power games they chose to play. Yahweh is no exception.
Even within Christianity, a prophet came along to challenge the cruel and
brutal nature of the presiding god and to preach love. He was murdered and
made into a symbol of a church that continued to promote violence and
hypocrisy. Some gnostics see Jesus as an avatar of the Goddess Sophia sent
to set things right. If he existed, he was a man blessed with the compassion of
the Mother which of course was seen as a threat to the patriarchal order of
the religion in which he was raised.
So what are these gods? To put it succinctly, they are creations themselves of
the minds and consciousness of human men. That is not to say they are
unreal. Anything that has such a profound effect on the material world, even if
through the actions of humans, is indeed a very real phenomenon. To say that
gods do not exist would be denying that there is a central cause to all of these
effects. They are what I like to refer to as thoughtforms – things which
manifest in a very real way, with very real consequences, as the result of
collective human thought and intention. They are very real and can be very
dangerous and oppressive.
I say to Abrahamic believers, your god is real, he was birthed by human
consciousness, and he is quite evil. And he is no different than the masculine
gods who arrived before him. He is one of many who happened to find a way
to gain immense influence and power on this planet. His followers found
clever ways to spread their affliction like a virus. He is cruel, ruthless,
arrogant, jealous, he throws tantrums at the slightest insult, often ignores
those who worship him, and has no interest in nurturing human kind. In fact, I
believe he enjoys seeing humans fight and suffer. This is why his believers of
different sects and faiths fight each other constantly. He makes rules that
make no sense and selectively punishes people for “sin.” The only real sin is
not to see him as all powerful and all knowing. He is highly concentrated ego
in supernatural form. He is mankind’s shadow, to borrow Jungian terms.
Many of us are sold into a covenant with this god at birth because our families
carry on the collective will of this thoughtform in their words and actions.
They are stuck in the trap of heaven and hell, both of which are only prisons.
And because many of us have family who are a part of carrying on worship of
this malevolent force, we think “Well it can’t be all bad, these are good people,
kind people, loving people. They have treated me well.” They are also victims
of a mass hypnosis and some are so locked into it that they don’t want to
come out. It feels good to them. It gives them comfort like that of one with
Stockholm Syndrome, unable to see anything without seeing it through the
lens of their abuser.
I have heard from some who are deconstructing that they are angry at having
had no choice in the matter. That they had their minds shaped and
manipulated from the start. It is amazing that they are able to crawl their way
out of it.
But it is possible to end your covenant and be free from the trap of heaven,
hell, and slavery to a force that loves to see human beings suffer. Why would
an all-knowing god let his worshippers suffer? Because he enjoys the drama.
It’s his entertainment, and watching it play out in so many interesting ways is
his m.o. It’s a feature, not a glitch, as the saying goes. And you can choose to
no longer participate in his game.
Though we of the Sacred Gynarchy are against proselytizing and wish
everyone to be free to find their own path and believe and worship in whatever
way resonates with them, we are also not afraid to speak truth to power. We
are not so polite and appropriate that we will stand by in silence when we see
the harm done to the human race through the systems put in place by the
Abrahamic god and his followers.
As a Sacred Gynarchist, I will not pick a fight with a Jew, Christian, or Muslim
and try hard to convince them that they are wrong. But I will not withhold my
knowledge and wisdom on matters of religion. I will not be silent about what I
observe only to save the feelings of the devout. And I can empathize with those who have rejected religion completely in all forms because of what
these religions have put them through.
Though I have read the holy texts and studied religion for many years, I was
never yoked to these religions through my upbringing, and so I have a broader
perspective. I see that religion is a tool for creating cohesive community with
shared values, and for bettering ourselves through a shared ethics and
spiritual philosophy. It is useful and beneficial without the attachment to this
destructive force known as Yahweh. That which is good and beneficial about
a church or monastery can be maintained without the harmful facets of
Abrahamic abuse culture to weigh it down and repress the members.
If this makes sense and feels right to you, then welcome to the Sacred
Gynarchy. Welcome home.
Question: Wait, so are you saying you are a Living Goddess and I should stop
worshipping the Abrahamic god and worship you instead?
Answer: No. I am saying that the option for you to leave behind your former
covenant is there if it best serves your life and your spiritual journey. Nothing
bad will happen to you as a result. And I’m saying I have accepted the role of
Living Goddess as a service to those who desire a focal point of worship to
open their hearts and progress on their spiritual path toward being selfless,
less ego driven, and more surrendered and loving.
I am not here to coerce, seduce, or convince you. I refuse to manipulate you in
that way. I only want you to serve and worship me (or any other Living
Goddess) if the genuine spark of passion to do so is ignited within you. If you
don’t feel it, and if something within you rejects it, I will not try to convince you
and you should not try to convince yourself. Each person has their own
spiritual journey.
If you read all that I have written and reject it, good! Continue on the path that
is best for you and I wish you well.
